The vibrant city of Kolkata recently played host to the grand finale of the 9th NEZ International Film Festival (NIFF), culminating in a dazzling closing ceremony that celebrated the best of independent cinema.
Honoring Excellence:
Acclaimed director Gautam Ghosh was the toast of the evening as he was bestowed with the prestigious Golden Director’s Award, recognizing his outstanding contribution to the world of cinema. Joining him in the limelight were National Award-winning actor Rituparna Sengupta and Anjan Bose, who were honored with the coveted NIFF Icon Award. Additionally, Sohini Dasgupta was recognized with the esteemed NIFF Infinite Vistas Award, further adding to the glitz and glamour of the event.
