A Landmark Event in Indian Podcasting
Fever FM, renowned for championing Bollywood and entertainment, has partnered with HT Smart Cast, the podcasting arm of HT Media Ltd., to celebrate the best in Indian podcasting. This event, the first edition of ‘Podmasters Conclave and Awards,’ promises to bring together India’s top podcasters, celebrities, experts, and industry leaders in a grand celebration of the audio medium.
Honoring the Best in the Industry
Scheduled for May 30th in Mumbai, the Podmasters event will feature 35 award categories, designed to recognize excellence in podcasting. From over 240 nominations, winners were selected with more than 30,000 votes, highlighting the significant impact and popularity of their work.
Distinguished Panel of Judges
The awards will be judged by a distinguished panel of 12 experts, including:
- Sonal Kalra, Chief Managing Editor of HT
- Aditya Kuber, Co-founder and CEO of Ideabrew Studio
- Roshan Abbas, Founder of Kommune
- Mantra Mugdh, Director of MnM Talkies
- Kavita Rajwade, Co-founder of IVM Podcasts
- Varun Duggirala, Co-founder and CEO of EMoMee
Ramesh Menon, CEO of Fever Network, emphasized the importance of the event: “Podcasting in India has long been seen as nascent. We decided to take action and drive its evolution. The PodMasters Conclave & Awards is our bold step to elevate Indian podcasting to an international level.”
