The Struggle of a Divorced Woman
Women, once divorced, are often sceptical of giving love a second chance. Our society still labels a divorced woman as one carrying a stained past. Presenting Shubho Bibaho, the story of Tej and Sudha. Sudha, an honest and resilient woman, found herself at a crossroads in life after her divorce, a circumstance still burdened with societal stigma. Despite the unimaginable pressure from her family to remarry and the prevalent taboo surrounding divorced women, Sudha finds herself entangled in restarting her life amid the noise of peer pressure.
Unexpected Meeting
Tej, a man from an orthodox background, unknowingly became a part of Sudha’s journey when their paths crossed unexpectedly at a wedding where Sudha was helping with the decor, her hands weaving magic with the flowers. It was there that her friend posed a question that lingered in Sudha’s mind: How long would she continue to decorate others’ weddings, neglecting her own life’s adornment?
Destiny’s Play
On destiny bringing them together… As Sudha and Tej are getting married through an arranged marriage set up by their families. How will Tej’s family react upon discovering that Sudha is a divorced woman? Will they accept Sudha? Will Tej develop a soft corner for this troubled soul? And will that triumph over societal stigma? Will they both find solace in each other, giving love and life a second chance?

The character Tej, played by talented actor Honey Bafna, and Sudha, played by the gorgeous Sonamoni Saha, are going to share the screen for the very first time and are all set to be the next most sizzling and talked-about couple on screen.

“Shubho Bibaho,” produced by Acropolis Entertainment with extraordinary storytelling by talented Snigdha Basu, shall additionally feature renowned actors Mallika Mazumder, Sohini Sanyal, Kushal Chakraborty, Suchismita Chowdhury, Saswati Guhathakurta, and many others.
