Salman Khan’s name hit headlines during April not for a film, but for a gun shooting that took place at his Bandra residence.
It was alleged by the Police that shooters were hired by Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang to assassinate the superstar.
Mumbai police have recovered an audio file which establishes a link between the Lawrence Bishnoi gang and the attackers who shot at actor Salman Khan’s house in April.
Sources said that the audio file shows that Lawrence’s brother Anmol Bishnoi was in constant touch with the shooter.
A lot of arrests have been made in this case, and they have been brought to Mumbai for further investigations. Now, a forensic report has revealed that an audio that was recovered from the suspects’ phone, was of Anmol Bishnoi, who is Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother.
A report in ANI disclosed that audio recording found on one of the arrested suspects, belongs to Anmol and they match with the samples retained by the investigating agency.
In his statement to the police, Salman Khan revealed that he was up till late night as he was having a party and was woken up by the sound of a bullet as two bikers fired shots at the actor’s home.
On June 4, a team of four, including a Mumbai Crime Branch officer, visited Salman Khan’s residence to document his and his brother Arbaaz’s statements, the interrogation lasted for six hours.
During the investigation, Salman Khan recounted waking up to the sound of gunshots on April 14, initially mistaking them for a nightmare until he found a bullet lodged in his balcony.
Till now, 6 arrests have been made, unfortunately one of them passed away in police custody.
