NIFD Global Saltlake Announces Major Event
Kolkata’s premier Fashion & Interior Design institute, NIFD Global Saltlake, is gearing up for its much-anticipated annual Fashion & Lifestyle exhibition, ‘Explodia 2.0’. Scheduled for the 19th and 20th of July 2024, this event promises to be a showcase of innovation and creativity in the fashion industry. Grand Inauguration and Insightful Seminar
The exhibition will kick off with a grand inauguration on July 19th at noon, led by the esteemed actress Parijat Chaudhuri. Following this, an insightful seminar titled ‘Fashion as an Expression’ will take place. Esteemed panelists include National award-winning costume designer Sabarni Das, actress and director Aparajita Ghosh, senior model Runa Laha, dancer Shyamal Mullick, journalist and entrepreneur Reshmi Bagchi, and Ronit Agarwal, Managing Director of Mini Club Exports. This seminar will explore fashion’s role in personal and cultural expression, offering attendees a deep dive into the industry’s impact.
Fashion Shows and Stunning Collections
The first day will also feature a series of captivating fashion shows. Attendees can look forward to collections showcasing ethnic wear, casual wear, and subtraction cutting. The following day will continue the excitement with unique collections of denim wear, couture gowns, and avant-garde designs. Each show aims to highlight the diverse talents and creative visions of the student designers.
