Hoichoi, in collaboration with SVF Music, has unveiled the first song from Talmar Romeo Juliet, setting the stage for its premiere on November 15. Directed by Arpan Garai with creative direction by Anirban Bhattacharya, the series marks hoichoi’s Second World Classic, reimagining Shakespeare’s classic tragedy for a modern audience.
A Glimpse into Forbidden Love
The song, titled Du Haatey Mutho Bhorey, offers a glimpse into the powerful chemistry between lead characters Rana and Jahanara, played by debut actors Debdutta Raha and Hiya Roy. Sung and composed by Debraj Bhattacharya, the track brings the story’s secretive romance to life, depicting the growing connection between the young lovers from feuding families.
Beautifully Shot in Serene Settings
Set against the charming landscapes of Talma and the scenic North Bengal, the song’s visuals enhance its emotional appeal. Du Haatey Mutho Bhorey blends melodies with stunning visuals, adding depth to the story’s exploration of love in defiance of bitter family rivalries.
