Along side Ayodhya holds immense cultural, historical, and religious significance, making it a key destination for those interested in exploring India’s spiritual heritage.
In recent survey it was observed that Ayodhya has a massive number of visitors as compared to Taj Mahal . Earlier Taj Mahal was considered as the top tourist spot of Uttar Pradesh followed by Varanasi and Mathura but recent time Ayodhya took over the place of being the famous tourist spot of UP.
The temple was inaugurated on 22 January 2024 after a prana pratishtha ceremony. On the first day of its opening, following the consecration, the temple received a rush of over half a million visitors, and after a month, the number of daily visitors was reported to be between 100,000 and 150,000.
Visitors come to see the famous Ram Janmabhoomi followed by visiting the other temples and exploring the city.
