The song was recorded by the artist before she was brutally murdered on May 29, 2022, and it has since been made public. International performers Burna Boy and Steel Banglez are also included in the song.

On May 29, a day after the Punjab government cut Sidhu’s security cover along with that of several others in the state, he was shot and killed close to Mansa in the province of Punjab. Along with two other people, the 28-year-old was shot and killed while operating his SUV in the Jawahar Ke hamlet in the Mansa district. When he arrived at the Mansa Civil Hospital, he was pronounced dead.
