On 6th October 2024, Kolkata witnessed the grand launch of the much-awaited Bohurupi album by Windows Production. Presented by Mangaldeep Agarbattis, this event celebrated the success of previously released singles from the album like Shimul Polash, Dakatiya Banshi, and Aaj Sara Bela. Music legends AR Rahman and Shantanu Moitra extended their wishes, highlighting the album’s significance.

The highlight of the evening was the live performance of Tui Amar Hoye Ja, featuring soulful renditions by Shrestha Das and Arnab Dutta. The emotional depth of their performance set the tone for a memorable night. Other hit tracks, including Aaj Sara Bela by Anupam Roy and Shimul Polash by Nanichora and Shrestha, added to the event’s musical charm.

Directors Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee engaged with fans in a Meet & Greet session, offering insights into the making of Bohurupi. They expressed gratitude to their music partner, Junglee Music, and emphasized the album’s connection to the Pujo festivities.

The event concluded with an electrifying performance by Silajit, who debuted the unreleased track Tui Kyane Eli, encouraging the audience to stream the full album across platforms.
