The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of over 120 Chief Information Officers (CIOs) from across the country, including esteemed guests from neighbouring Bangladesh. The celebration unfolded as a testament to the CIO Klub’s commitment to fostering technological transformation and creating a vibrant platform for knowledge-sharing and collaboration.
Founded in 2008, the CIO Klub is a not-for-profit association that brings together CIOs from diverse industries across India. The Kolkata Chapter anniversary celebration, held today, was a momentous occasion that attracted CIOs not only from metropolitan cities like Kolkata but also from burgeoning tech hubs like Guwahati, Dhanbad, and Raipur.
The event was inaugurated by Babul Supriyo, Minister of Information Technology & Electronics and Non-Conventional & Renewable Energy, Govt. of WB. The esteemed gathering also included prominent figures such as Man Mohan Goyal, President of CIO Klub Kolkata Chapter, Sanjeev Sinha, Treasurer, President – IT & Digitization & India Power Corporation Ltd., and other distinguished personalities who have left an indelible mark on the Information Technology landscape.
Speaking at the event, Man Mohan Goyal expressed his delight at the overwhelming response, saying, “CIO Klub is an initiative of the leading technocrats of the country, comprising CIOs, CISOs, and Chief Digital Officers from varied industry verticals across India and the Middle East. We are overwhelmed by the participation of over 120 CIOs representing 100 large organizations from all around the country.”
