In his heartfelt note, Dibyendu shared, “My daughter Norah Bhattacharya is 14 years old now and she is playing in the U17 team of the National Subroto Cup which happened in Bangalore. I am really proud of her and no wonder I am reliving my dreams with Norah. It makes me remember my football days back in the late 80s and early 90s in Calcutta when I used to play as a midfielder. Due to a lot of injuries, I left it, but I am reliving my dream now with her.”

Dibyendu further expressed his commitment to supporting his daughter’s football journey. “Now she is playing it to the fullest and I only coach her. My love and best wishes are always with her. Whenever I get time from my work, I make sure that I am with her, which is another priority in life now. She scored 7 goals in 7 matches and won the Silver for her team.”
