Celebrating Academic Excellence
J.D. Birla Institute, a renowned institution under the Vidya Mandir Society and affiliated with Jadavpur University, marked a significant milestone with its Graduation Congregational Ceremony 2024. The event, held at the prestigious Vidya Mandir Auditorium in Kolkata on February 24, witnessed the culmination of academic journeys for the graduating batches of 2020-2023 (UG) and 2021-2023 (PG).
Recognition of Achievements
Amidst a backdrop of pride and accomplishment, JDBI bestowed degrees upon 456 graduates across diverse disciplines. The degrees included M.Sc, M.Com, Post Graduate Diploma in Dietetics and Applied Nutrition (PGDDAN), B.Sc, B.Com, and BBA, symbolizing the culmination of years of hard work and dedication.
Distinguished Guests and Honors
The ceremony was graced by esteemed dignitaries, with Dr. Amith Singhee, Director of IBM Research India and CTO of IBM India/South Asia, serving as the Chief Guest. Notable figures such as Prof. Amitava Datta, Pro-Vice-Chancellor of Jadavpur University, and Dr. Snehamanju Basu, Registrar of Jadavpur University, added to the grandeur of the occasion. Major General V N Chaturvedi, Secretary General of Vidya Mandir Society, also lent his presence to the event. Dr. Deepali Singhee, Principal of the Institute, along with prominent faculty members Dr. Tapobrata Ray and Dr. Sraboni Dutta, graced the ceremony with their esteemed presence.
