Filmmaker Karan Johar recently responded to the *Kangana Ranaut* slap incident during the trailer launch of his upcoming production film ‘Kill’. The actress-turned-politician Kangana was slapped by a CISF female constable at Chandigarh airport while undergoing security checks for a flight to Delhi on June 6.
Karan Johar was questioned about his stance on the incident during a press conference for his movie. The filmmaker expressed his disapproval of any form of violence, whether verbal or physical, stating, “I do not support any kind of violence, verbal or physical.”
The history between Karan Johar and Kangana Ranaut is marked by a well-known feud, which originated when Kangana labeled him the ‘flag-bearer of nepotism’ on his talk show in 2017. In response, Karan Johar once suggested that Kangana was free to leave the industry if she had so many issues with it and should stop playing the victim card.
In spite of their personal feud, the director still indirectly supports the actress.
