With every new season, Bigg Boss makes a lot of headlines and with all the new seasons of Bigg Boss OTT season 3, fans are so ready to watch this season but this time there is a new host in town, “Mister India,” Anil Kapoor. The show is all set to kick off from June 21 on Jio Cinema and a lot of fans have already been speculating about the contestants of this new season. As per sources, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actors Harshad Chopda and Shehzada Dhami have been roped in for Bigg Boss OTT 3. Temptation Island fame Cheshta Bhagat and Nikhil Mehta are likely to be part of this controversial show; according to reports, even social media personality Vishal Pandey will be on the list of contestants. However, among these contestants, the makers of the show have revealed the name of the first contestant for the third season and she is Chandrika Dixit, popularly known as the ‘Vada Pav Girl’. Since the news came out, it has created a massive buzz as fans and followers are excited to see the social media sensation on the reality show. Chandrika was first featured in the video of food vlogger Amit JIndal’s channel. Reportedly, she quit her job at Haldiram’s after she was diagnosed with dengue. In one of the viral videos, she could be seen crying and talking on the phone, which was widely circulated on Instagram. In that viral clip, she claimed that the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) was asking for money to let her continue selling Vada Pav from her cart and even though she is famous for the food she sells, she is known for her arrogant behaviour and controversies with her customers.
Bigg Boss OTT is a spin-off of the popular Bigg Boss franchise and first debuted on Voot with filmmaker Karan Johar as the host. Actor and longtime Bigg Boss host Salman Khan hosted the second season in 2023. The last season of Bigg Boss OTT was a huge success, with contestants like Manisha Rani and Pooja Bhatt The show was ultimately won by YouTuber Elvish Yadav.
Excited to host the third season of Bigg Boss OTT, Anil Kapoor, in a statement, said, “Bigg Boss OTT and I are a dream team! We’re both young at heart.” It will be interesting to see if Anil is able to fill the shoes of the long-time host Salman Khan and manage to get audience appreciation or not.
