Today (29.11.2023) , at about 10.50 hrs when train no 37321(Howrah-Tarakeswar Local) was started to run from Platform No 04 of Howrah Station Old Complex. suddenly one female and one male passengers tried to board in running train and got unbalanced and fell down in the gap between train and platform.
Seeing this, on duty alert RPF Head Constable/L.K.Bouri of RPF/Post / Howrah North without thinking for a second of his life, immediately rushed towards that passenger and rescued the lady passenger from run over. The miraculous instant act of the on duty Eastern Railway’s RPF Head Constable, Shri L.K Bouri of RPF/Post/Howrah North, the life of the lady passenger was saved by pulling him out at the time when he was about to fell in the gap between platform and the moving train.
On being asked she disclose her name as- Fatima Khatoon , Female-40 Years of Aambagan, PO+PS-Bandel, Dist-Hooghly (W.B.) and she also stated that she has to go to Sheowrafully with her relative and on hurry they were try to board in said train but un-balance but promt action of on duty RPF, She could be save from any mishap. She paid thanks to RPF for saving his life. Further she was boarded in another train for her destination.
