Kolkata, 13th July 2024: Hazra Park Durgotsab commenced the autumnal rituals with the Khuti Puja on the auspicious eve of Ulta Rath Yatra, marking the beginning of this year’s Durga Puja festivities at Jatin Das Park (Hazra crossing). Known for its innovative concepts and celebration style, Hazra Park Durgotsab is a standout event in the city. The Puja is renowned for its unique pandals and year-round social work carried out by the committee.

The occasion was illuminated by the presence of several eminent personalities, including Sri. Sovandeb Chattopadhyay, Minister of Agriculture, Govt of WB; Sri. Debasish Kumar, MLA; Sri. Sayan Deb Chatterjee, Joint Secretary of Hazra Park Durgotsab Committee; and Smt. Trina Saha, actress. Their presence added to the festive spirit, with traditional Dhak drummers providing a rhythmic backdrop.
