SVF Cinemas Celebrates Rathayatra with Grand Multiplex Launch in Habra: The Eken Team Joins In
Habra, 27 June 2025 – In a major step toward strengthening its footprint in Bengal’s growing entertainment sector, SVF Cinemas has launched its 27th multiplex property in the vibrant town of Habra, North 24 Parganas. The much-awaited inauguration took place on the auspicious day of Rathayatra, making the celebration doubly special for local cinephiles.

With this addition, SVF Cinemas now operates 55 screens across West Bengal, reaffirming its position as one of the largest and most ambitious players in the Bengali film exhibition space.



The first show, held at 3:30 PM exclusively for dignitaries, featured the popular detective thriller The Eken: Benaras e Bibhishika. Public screenings commenced later in the evening with simultaneous shows of The Eken and the critically acclaimed film Maa.
