With Bandhan Bank’s mandate to collect revenue through GRIPS, residents of West Bengal will now have the convenience of making various payments through the integrated platform. The bank, with its extensive presence across all districts of West Bengal boasting over 1700 banking outlets, is well-positioned to facilitate seamless transactions for the populace.
Citizens will now have the convenience of paying property tax, motor vehicle tax, professional tax, and other levies through the WB GRIPS portal. This integration with Bandhan Bank comes as part of the government’s broader initiative to digitize and streamline administrative processes, bringing government services closer to the people.
The GRIPS portal, an online platform initiated by the Government of West Bengal, aims to provide 24×7 electronic services for depositing money to the state government. With the integration of 29 various departments and directorates, the portal offers a comprehensive range of services catering to different sectors and requirements.
