Ayesha Takia who became a popular name in the year 2010, was born to Mr Nishith and Mrs Faridah Takia on April 10, 1986, in Mumbai. In 2004, at the age of 18, she made her big screen debut with the film “Taarzan: The Wonder Car,
alongside Vatsal Seth and Ajay Devgan, under the direction of Mustan Burmawalla and Abbas Burmawalla, The film was produced by Gordhan Tanwani. The film got her immense recognition and she also got the Filmfare award for Best Debut Actress. After such a blockbuster hit, her seven back-to-back films were released but these films couldn’t match the level of hype that “Taarzan: -The Wonder Car” got After this movie, she did get many offers but because of her films not doing well, she slowly started to get very few films until the year 2009, when her movie “Wanted,” opposite Salman Khan, got released, This movie was a massive hit but it only favoured the actor and not the actress, as after this film, she only did two films, Paathshaala and Mod, which were both flops. During her time in the industry, she made a total of 21 movies, which included both Bollywood and Tollywood films. The 2011 film Mod became her last film and she decided to settle down and get married She initially dated a few men, like Siddharth, who was Manisha Koirala’s brother but her relationship didn’t work in 2009. When the movie Wanted was released, she decided to marry her then-boyfriend Farhan Azmi. Many people from the industry suggested her not settle down early as she was only 23 when she got married and rather focus on her career but Ayesha decided to listen to her heart and marry her love, After her marriage, she finally decided to quit the film industry in 2011 and focus on her hotel business along with her husband She then went missing from the eyes of media for a time period of 6 years. In 2017, she came back with the music video “Zindagi Tujhse kya karen Shikvey.”
