The event kicked off with an exclusive screening of the film’s trailer, setting the stage for an intimate interaction between the artists and the enthusiastic iLEAD students. Director Debaloy Bhattacharya, known for his visionary contributions to cinema, engaged the students in a captivating dialogue about the distinctive features of ‘pulp fiction’ and ‘out of the box filmmaking,’ particularly in the context of Bengali cinema.

Discussing his decision to explore the forgotten stories of writer Swapankumar, Bhattacharya shared, “I wanted to create a surreal world where imaginations can fly. So I went back to this world of Swapankumar. I have not taken up any story from it. I have made use of the elements and characters because he (Swapankumar) saw this city in a very different light.”
Actress Shruti Das, who plays a pivotal role in the film, urged the students to immerse themselves in the magic of the movie on the big screen. She extended a heartfelt request for their support and encouragement, emphasizing the significance of audience backing in the success of unique cinematic endeavors.
