Asparagus recently hosted their anniversary function and of course the New Year’s Boishakhi Ada at PC Chandra Garden, Kolkata. For example – in the beginning there were mango sharbat, gandraj ghol, soft drinks and tea with saffron. Tea was accompanied by – Fish Butter Fry, Chicken Tengri Kebab, Mocha Chop and Potato Wedges. Main courses included – Bengali favorite luchi, chickpea dal with coconut and pulvara potato dum, vetki paturi, paneer paturi, mutton biryani, chicken kasha, basmati rice, dab prawns, kadai paneer, patal dolma. We spoke to Pritam Dutta, head of Asparagus Catering. Pritam Dutt spent his childhood in Kolkata. He is an alumnus of IHM. He started event management from a very young age. His first assignment was entertaining only 50 guests. It has grown from 50 to 500 guests last December 10, 2010. And that year he also presented many marriage houses and this was his first work. He said so. Regarding their success, he said that in every work one has to maintain consistency and be patient. Sometimes there are successes and sometimes failures in work, but in everything you have to adapt yourself. He gets the motivation to turn negative talk into more positive ones.
