Covering a vast 1,200,000 sq ft. of land, the Bhiwandi trucking terminal stands as one of India’s largest logistics facilities, integrating automated hub, sortation, returns, and freight operations. The facility is equipped to handle Delhivery’s parcel and part-truckload freight volume concurrently.
The automated gateway features 196 docking stations and is designed to process over 8,000 tonnes of freight, with 1600 vehicles transiting through it daily, equating to a vehicle every 54 seconds. The facility’s state-of-the-art automation system, developed and implemented by Falcon Autotech (a Delhivery invested company), incorporates 1.8 km of integrated double-deck cross-belt sorters, along with over 5 km of material conveyance systems. It is capable of processing more than 32,000 shipments and 17,000 freight units per hour.
