‘Mirzapur’, a highly acclaimed gangster drama, by Karan Anshuman who also co-writes the series along with Puneeth Krishna and Vineet Krishna. It is backed by Excel Entertainment and its executive Producers of Farhan, Akhtar, Ritesh Sidhwani and Kassim Jagmagia The Series premiered in 2018 and because of the great plot and fantastic acting of the cast, it became a blockbuster hit and got a huge appreciation from the audience. The second season was released in October 2020, and it continued to maintain the series’ popularity with its intense plot and strong performances. The story of ‘Mirzapur’ revolves around Kaleen Bhaiya, a crimelord with a carpet business as a front, played by Pankaj Tripathi, and the Pandit brothers, Guddu and Bablu. After the success of the two seasons, Fans were eagerly waiting for the new season to get released and Prime Video teased the release date on Monday 10th June 2024, but with a unique twist that made fans buzzing with excitement.
They had shared a caricature poster of ‘Mirzapur 3’, featuring the show’s main characters, including Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Divyendu, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Shweta Tripathi Sharma, Harshita Gaur, and Vijay Verma “The unique way of announcing the release date kept fans on their toes. Based on the hints from the teaser, including the recurrence of the number seven and a full moon many guessed the release date as July 7 others speculated dates like July 21, One fan wrote, “Date important nahi hey, S3aa raha (The date isn’t important, S3 is coming) however to fans surprise on the next day i.e 11th June 2024 Prime Video dropped the teaser of Mirzapur Season 3.
The teaser is a collage of several moments from the upcoming season, and if that’s anything to go by, fans can expect a return to the familiar, blood-soaked territory of the franchise. A voiceover lays the groundwork for what is in store, using the metaphor of many animals in the ‘battle of the jungle’. It is not just the lion who is the contender, but also the wild cats, cheetahs, foxes, hyenas and crocodiles. It all matters because it is, at the end of the day, the question of the survival of the jungle itself. The series is all set to be released on July 05 2024 on Amazon Prime Video and with the amount of hype this series is getting we expect a lot from the makers and the entire cast we sincerely hope that it won’t disappoint the audience and be
a blockbuster hit just like it’s other two seasons.
