11th August, 2023: Film enthusiasts and fans of mystery were treated to an unforgettable evening as the highly anticipated movie “Byomkesh O Durgo Rahashya” premiered at the iconic Priya Cinema. The red-carpet event marked a celebration of cinematic excellence, storytelling and the enduring legacy of the detective genre. The premiere was attended by the star-studded cast, talented filmmakers, distinguished guests, and an enthusiastic audience who witnessed the mystery unfold on the big screen.
“Byomkesh O Durgo Rahashya” is a modem adaptation of the classic detective tale by the legendary Bengali author, Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay. The film masterfully weaves together suspense, intellect and unexpected twists that will keep the audience on the edge of their seats. The lead role of the brilliant detective Byomkesh Bakshi was portrayed by none other than superstar Dev, who flawlessly embodied the essence of the character.
The Premiere was graced by the presence of the film’s lead cast, Dev, Rukmini, Ambarish Bhattacharya, Shantilal Mukherjee, Rajatava Dutta & Director, Birsa Dasgupta among others.

The movie is jointly produced by Dev Entertainment Ventures & Shadow Films and co-presented by Mr Tanmoy Banerjee. The Screenplay and Dialogues have been penned by Subhendu Dasmunshi, while the Cinematography is by Subhankar Bhar. The Editing is by Sumit Chowdhury and Music & Background Score is by Diptarka Bose. Saswati Karmakar and Mridul Baidya are in charge of the production design and Costume is by Jayanti Sen. Shaket Banerjee is the Associate Director while Sarathi Guha is the Associate Producer and Sayak Khan is the Executive Producer.
