Post the Durga puja and Diwali craze, the next most awaited festival in Kolkata is Christmas. And with Children’s Day just around the corner, what better gift for the tiny tots than to gift them an eventful fun-filled day at a luxurious cake-mixing festival?
Dunkel Braun the largest bakery café in Eastern India organized a Cake Mixing Ceremony and Junior Baker’s Workshop on the 12th of November at their Salt Lake outlet where more than 30 kids participated.
The children between the ages 4-14 years learned about the intricacies and process of cake mixing, cookie icing, cake frosting and so much more and prepared muffins, cakes and other delicious goodies. There were no registration charges applied and all the ingredients were provided by the team of Dunkel Braun.
Sandeep Gupta the owner and founder of Dunkel Braun say, “It was such an exciting event where children not only baked for fun but also gathered together to welcome a positive spirit that is synonymous with the festive season.”
The guardians of the participants further added, “It was a nice experience and we’re glad that our children enjoyed the fun activity. Cake mixing, icing and everything was well organised. Thanks to the team.”
All the kids had to say the same thing – “We were really excited and we loved doing the activities.”
