The launch event, held at Aakash South Kolkata Centre, saw the unveiling of the Bengali version of study material by the Heads of Departments and senior faculty members from Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology. Speaking at the press conference, Mr. Nabin Kaarki, National Academic Director- NEET Division, highlighted the demand for study material in Bengali among students and emphasized Aakash’s commitment to fulfilling this need. After more than a year of meticulous effort by an expert team, the Bengali study material has been developed to ensure it meets the standards of excellence synonymous with Aakash.

The initiative comes at a time when there has been a notable increase in the number of students opting to write NEET (UG) in Bengali. In 2023, out of the 1,04,923 students who registered for NEET (UG) from West Bengal, 43,890 students chose Bengali as their medium. This trend underscores the importance of providing resources in regional languages to facilitate better understanding and preparation among students.
