Orchids The International School in Kolkata recently celebrated its Annual Day with much pomp and grandeur across its campuses, showcasing the rich cultural tapestry of India while honoring academic excellence and extracurricular achievements.

The event at the Newtown campus was graced by esteemed guests, including Dr. Kaushik Ray and Mr. Nitin Behl, who joined Bidyunmala Salunke, the Principal of Orchids The International School, Newtown. Traditional rituals, including the lighting of the lamp, set the stage for a vibrant display of student talent, with dance dramas and musical performances captivating the audience.

Similarly, the Madhyamgram campus witnessed dazzling performances by students, recognized for their academic brilliance and extracurricular prowess. Mrs. Sharmilee Bandyopadhyay, the Principal, awarded outstanding achievers, fostering a sense of unity and pride among students, parents, and staff.

At the Joka campus, the celebration highlighted India’s diverse cultural heritage through traditional rituals and colorful performances. Priya Karthick, the Principal, led the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by vibrant folk songs and dances representing various states, capturing the essence of each region’s cultural traditions.
