Special screening of “Kabuliwala” overwhelms underprivileged kids with a spectrum of emotions

The Future Hope Foundation, dedicated to improving the well-being of underprivileged children, recently organized a special screening of the film “Kabuliwala” at Quest, a venue for children under its care. The event proved to be a deeply moving experience, as the children became fully immersed in a range of emotions—laughing, shedding tears, and delighting in the essence of the film. Suman Ghosh, the director of Kabuliwala, and the entire production team were present to witness this remarkable affair. They were overwhelmed by the genuine and unfiltered displays of happiness and sadness on the faces of the young audience. The atmosphere echoed with their laughter, and moments of poignant storytelling elicited tears.

The film, known for its exploration of friendship and humanity, struck a deep chord with the children, many of whom could relate to the characters and their struggles. The team was profoundly moved and pleased by the enthusiastic reception from the children, highlighting the powerful ability of cinema to create connections that transcend socio-economic barriers.
