During Bengal’s grand Durga Puja celebration in 2023, SVF Music introduced a remarkable symphony titled “Charpashe Aalo Hok: Pujo Song of Unity.” This symphony, born from deep devotion, brought together 100 talented musicians to create a beautiful composition with the central theme of dispelling darkness.

This musical masterpiece went beyond just being music; it stood as a symbol of unity, merging a diverse group of talents to create something extraordinary that celebrated togetherness. What made this composition special was its inclusivity, as it featured both virtuoso musicians and differently abled artists, making it a musical celebration for everyone.

Renowned figures in classical music, the father-daughter duo Pandit Ajoy Chakraborty and Kaushiki Chakraborty, collaborated for the first time on a Bengali music project with SVF Music. The multi-talented Parambrata Chattopadhyay directed this musical masterpiece, while the talented lyricist Srijato crafted a composition that would light up every corner of Bengal. The esteemed music director, Indraadip Das Gupta, known for his contributions to cinema, composed this vibrant melody, bringing radiance to our world.

This spectacular event featured many beloved musicians of Bengal, including Somlata, Timir Biswas, Debayan Banerjee, Amrita Singh (sister of Arjit Singh), Aheeri and Anandi Chatterjee (daughters of Raghav Chattopadhyay), Antara and Ankita Nandi of Nandi Sisters, D Kaushik (from Prithibi Bangla Band), Joy Sarkar, Partha Sarathi (Ekalabya Band), Nirmalya Hamtoo Dey, and John Paul, in a unique collaboration that promised to be mesmerizing. Talented children and aspiring singers were also part of this grand project.

The magnificent stage for this event was none other than The Rajbari Bawali, a treasure trove of Bengal’s rich heritage. Set within the elegant architecture of this marvel, the composition reached new heights, resonating with history and the spirit of the state. As you stepped into The Rajbari Bawali, it felt like you had been transported to a bygone era, like a vintage postcard that showcased opulence and style.
