Kolkata, December 6th November 2022: After having received an overwhelming amount of love, critical acclaim and
leaving the audiences craving more by the end of the first part, Karagar Part 2 is all set to release on hoichoi on
December 22nd, 2022. The first season took us on a thrilling journey with the mystery man who suddenly appeared in cell 145 out of the blue, after 50 years of it being empty. A quest to find the truth behind this mystery man’s identity and his purpose behind being in said prison, forms the crux of the first part of Karagar.
But what happens in Karagar Part 2 , do we unravel the mysteries woven in the first part or get even more intertwined in newer mysteries. The trailer for Karagar Part 2 takes the audiences on an unprecedented ride. Picking up from where it left off in part 1, the trailer shows the mystery man talking but there are several other elements that are bound to baffle you and get you hooked. We see someone who looks exactly like the mystery man, yet very different. He is polished, well dressed, with the times, and has published a book. Two people, two garbs, two lives , yet one face. Karagar Part 2 is all set to take its audiences on a wild ride and the trailer just sets the groundwork for the entertainment bonanza that is about to occur.
The trailer was launched in Kolkata to celebrate the love for Karagar across borders, amidst an event consisting of the top entertainment media outlets of the industry and the Director- Syed Ahmed Shawki and protagonist – Chanchal Chowdhury; of the show. The response received was overwhelming and the love and craze for Karagar was mind boggling. Talking about his excitement over the Karagar Part 2 trailer drop, Chanchal Chowdhury aka The Mystery man said, “The response Karagar Part 1 received was phenomenal. The love, the feedback and appreciation really meant a lot to the whole team of Karagar. The second part of the show packs a punch and the trailer just shows a glimpse of it. I have two very different get ups in this part and while I cant reveal much on those characters, I can say that the audiences will love the way the story unfolds and hopefully we’ll be able to hold on to and increase the love that the first part received.”
Adding to this, Syed Ahmed Shawki, the director of Karagar added, “With Karagar I wanted to tell a story that seems
