Empowering the Needy:
On the 31st of March 2024, the Cable TV Equipments Traders & Manufacturers Association (CTMA), in collaboration with the East Kolkata Nagrik Foundation, orchestrated a noble act of kindness. They organized a Free Eye Operation Camp, extending the gift of sight to 100 cataract patients hailing from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, in Lake Town, Kolkata.

Medical Marvels Unleashed:
Under the skilled guidance of Dr. Sayantan Ghosh and his proficient team, the camp witnessed a series of phaco surgeries, transforming the lives of those in need. The initiative aimed not just at treating ailments but also at restoring hope and dignity.

A Generous Donation:
Adding to their benevolent deeds, CTMA graciously donated an AB-Scan Machine to the Eastern Kolkata Nagrik Foundation. This contribution promises to further enhance the foundation’s ability to provide essential eye care services to the underprivileged.

Shri Sujit Bose, MLA and Minister-in-Charge of Fire and Emergency Services, graced the occasion. He lauded the efforts of CTMA and the foundation for their altruistic endeavors, emphasizing the importance of such initiatives in societal upliftment.
